Site Announcements can only be managed by an administrator.
The Admin > Site Announcements page can be used to send site-wide announcements to all currently active users, logged on and anonymous. The announcement will be shown as a small popup in the lower left portion of the page. The user can dismiss the message after viewing it.
Hover over a field caption to see detailed information for the field. On mobile devices click on the field caption instead.
To send an announcement enter an announcement title in the "Title" field and the message text in the "Message" field, then click the "Send" button.
By selecting the "Text Mode" check box, the message can be sent to just yourself, to test the appearance of the message.
Another form of notification can be sent to users using the Alert Settings page. An alert is shown to all users whenever they start using the RegistryUI website.
